Sleep apnea is a serious sleep disorder where breathing repeatedly stops and starts. The most common type is obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), which occurs when the muscles in the back of the throat fail to keep the airway open. Snoring happens when the flow of air through the mouth and nose is partially blocked during sleep. In this episode of snoring and sleep apnea podcast, we discuss what causes these issues, the risks associated with them, and most importantly, what you can do about it.

Join the PACE Hospitals Podcast with Dr. Shweta Anand - ENT Surgeon & Allergy Specialist at PACE Hospitals, Hitech City, Hyderabad, India, to discuss the science behind snoring and sleep apnea, how to recognize the symptoms, and the various treatments available.
