Listen to

Rhinoplasty, commonly known as a nose job, is a surgery that reshapes the nose for cosmetic reasons. It can improve facial symmetry, correct breathing issues caused by structural defects, or repair damage from injury. Surgeons may adjust cartilage, bone or skin depending on the desired outcome.

This is usually done under general anaesthesia, followed by recovery with swelling and bruising. It can raise facial appearance and boost confidence. Whether for cosmetic or medical reasons, it’s one of the most common plastic surgeries worldwide. In this episode of the Rhinoplasty Podcast, we’ll break down the purpose of the surgery, the procedure itself, what to expect during recovery, and the real benefits and risks involved.

Join the PACE Hospitals Podcast with Dr Kantamneni Lakshmi, Senior Consultant Plastic, Cosmetic, and reconstructive Surgeon at PACE Hospitals, Hyderabad, India, to explore the rhinoplasty procedure, its types, indications, potential complications, and the results one can expect.
